It is proposed we visit the Tower of London ( 1 ) in the morning, it opens at 9.00am to 5.30pm, Tuesday to Saturday. After lunch we explore Tower Bridge ( 2 ) and the finish the day inspecting HMS Belfast (3 ) which is open from 10:00am to 6:00pm. It could be a long day so and early start would help.

Due to the amount of walking involved in visiting these sites it is suggested we get a No 78 Route Bus from the the Tower Bridge Road bus stop. This would require us walking south on Bermondsey Street to Abbey Street then north on Tower Bridge Road to the bus stop.

We alight from the No 78 Route Bus at the Tower of London Bus Stop and walk north and then west around the Tower to the entrance plaza that has the Ticket Office, Welcome Centre and Shop. To avoid the queque we pre purchase tickets on line. A daily program is also available on line to plan which tours we may wish to choose.

One consideration is that we buy lunch in the Tower to allow us to travel light.

In the afternoon we walk back for an inspection of Tower Bridge amd it's Museum and then down the stairs to access The Queen's Walk and along to HMS Belfast.

We then walk home to Bemondsey Street
